That morning, it was immediately obvious that I had to walk my 7 kilometers to work due to the collapse of transport. Walking would have been faster and more eye-pleasing, compared to standing inside a marshrutka that wasn't going anywhere. Such heavy fogs are pretty rare in Kyiv, so I had to enjoy it first-hand. Foggy Rusanivska naberezhna street:

A slowly moving traffic jam was creeping onto the Paton bridge. The Sun was rising behind the SilverBreeze houses, making them throw epic shadows into the fog.

Under the Paton bridge:

Low visibility, demonstrated by nature. The beginning of Dniprovska naberezhna street was hidden inside the fog:

I climbed the stairs to the Paton bridge. The traffic jam was only in the direction from left to right bank.

Sidewalk of the oldest standing bridge in Kyiv.

The Dnieper's water was almost invisible from the sidewalk. I was about 20 meters above the water in this place. A motorized boat was cutting the waters, as is somewhat visible on the photo.

Treetops were much closer than that boat, but still not clearly visible.

I have a small video of this fog. Not stabilized, sorry:
The Sun was slowly clearing the fog as I was crossing the Paton bridge. The Motherland monument looked like this when I reached the right bank end of the bridge:

It was cold, so the fog had covered fallen leaves with frost:
