Bukrinskiy-2021

I 🚲 the Bukrinskiy-2021 BRM200. It was my third or fourth time on this route.

At the start of it

I showed up despite not riding for a year and a half because of 🧡. Strange enough, I finished faster than before on this same route (still slowly, tho). Possible reasons are:

We were wearing Anyway Cycling jerseys
Two cyclists on tarmac. Black clothes and team jersey of Anyway Cycling Team

No miracles have happened, and I bonked at the 💯 km mark. I waved the group goodbye — from behind, right after the climb out of Kaharlyk. I sat up and started taking photos while riding the 👴 tempo.

Life is good if you see this t-junction

IT WAS ONLY AROUND 180-th KILOMETER THAT I UNDERSTOOD THAT THE LAST CHECKPOINT — THE ONE WHERE THEY GAVE US THE FUEL CALLED PEPSI-COLA — WAS NOT PRESENT THIS TIME! Had to traverse the last hills with no sugar.

After a few sad dozens of minutes I reached the finish, and Yevhen was kind enough to taxi me home fro there (an extra 80 km driving for him). Thanks a lot.

Thanks to:
Yevhen,
the organizers,
the photographer,
the drivers in these trucks,
and the other two members of our group of four!
